Dog Behavior Course
This week is all about observing and learning from our amazing sled dogs. During this course, you’ll get to live, learn and develop with our amazing husky pack; from appeasement- and body signals to stress management and behavioral studies.
Each lesson is designed in a way that allows us to combine both work and play. In-between lessons you can split your time between canoeing, biking or hike during summer; or ice-fishing, snowshoeing and of course sledding during winter.
After this week you’ll have gained true insight into what it takes to understand dogs - the course is suitable to newcomers and experienced dog connoisseurs alike.

Day-by-day
Day 1: Arrival. If you travel by plane, we will arrange for your pick-up at Östersund airport or train station. As you arrive at our huskyfarm, we want the four- and two-legged to get to know each other. Finally, over a cozy dinner we meet to talk about the week ahead.
Day 2: We start the day with breakfast and a run-down of the days ahead. An introduction to the pack.
Day 3 - 4: We start with breakfast and a feedback session relating to the day before. Following this, each day presents a new topic with theory introduction, practical exercise and observation. After lunch - but depending on the program - we continue the studies in combination with activities like fishing, hiking, canoeing with the dogs and much more. Finally, we gather over a cosy fireplace dinner in the main house.
Day 5: Last day. In the early morning, we will wake you up with a breakfast, as the time has come to say goodbye. If you traveled by plane or train, we will arrange for transportation to the airport or train station.
