Snowshoe walking: The nature around our farm is excellent for the adventurous winter-hiker! Come stay with us, borrow our snowshoes and head out exploring Jämtland County by foot.
People with disabilities: Jet Sleddogs offers exclusive dog sledding tours for people with disabilities, highly adjustable to meet your personal needs. On the tour you will drive your own dog sled through the untouched snow wildness, pulled by 4-6 Huskies. For our husky tours you don't need any dog sledding experience. Our well trained, easy-to-work and friendly huskies will be your reliable partners during the tour. The huskies will pull you on the sled though highland valleys and lonely forests on snow without any tracks, fare beyond civilization.
Family bonding experience: We have a long experience of parent-child bonding experiences and truly enjoy customizing a visit to fulfill any family’s outdoor-dreams.
Engagement: Looking to ask your loved one that special questions? What better place to do it than under the starlit sky surrounded by nothing but nature in complete solitude? We’ll make sure to make your special day even more memorable.
Raclette evening: Not far from our farm lies the famous dairy farm Skärvångens Bymejeri. With the local knowledge they produce some of the best cheese in Sweden. Join us for en evening of delicious food and cheese in front of an open fire. We can accustom between 2-10 participants.
Icefishing: During our dogsledding tour it is possible to make a break by the old, cosy and still very authentic hut built before comfort of electricity and running water were common in european households. We ‘park’ the dogs and let them rest, whereas we make a fire and prepare Fika. In meantime, we can take you down to the private lake, which is in wintertime of course completely frozen, and we can show you the technique of ice fishing. You will be able to try to catch your own fish.
skijoring: for experienced skiers it is possible to borrow skis and try to go skijoring to nearby tracks around Bjornrun.
Adopt an older dog: Our huskies love the outdoor life and running a sled is our call, but as with humans dogs too get older and need to retire. Some stay with us as older, wiser dogs in the pack - but we would love for them to find an extra forever-home during the last years of their life. If you’re interested in adopting one of our senior dogs, please feel free to reach out!
